The Trip Down To Austin

We recently made a quick and spontaneous trip down to Austin Texas.  We had made plans to do several things but first we had to get there. 

Here we are - ready to go!

We made a quick stop in Red Oak, Tx.

We stopped to eat breakfast at Denny's....mmmmm....

Here's a bit of trivia for you.  Did you know that Boxcar Willie, born Lecil Travis Martin in Sterrett Tx, has an overpass named for him in Red Oak?  Well now you do!

On the way we passed Carl's Corner, Tx.  I think this sign just looks sad.

We arrived in Austin in the early afternoon and after unloading our luggage we got ready to head out to eat at Salt Lick Bar-B-Que.
