Mt. Rushmore is amazing. Sharing it with my folks made it even better.
Because the weather was warmer (there was no snow on the ground) we were able to walk around and see more than we had the first time.
As you enter the monument there are columns with all of the state flags and Mom and M stopped to get a pic taken.
While we were there we had a great opportunity to meet one of the actual workers that helped build the monument, Nick Clifford.
He's actually the only living worker left and has written a book, "Mount Rushmore Q&A. Answers to Frequently Asked Questions." He was a sweet man and even autographed our book that we bought and included one of his baseball cards.
We had a fantastic time walking around and admiring Mt. Rushmore. I love when we create wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.
Cool photos.
