We had finished packing up our things and prepared to stow it in Nick's vehicle. One last look around the base before leaving.

It was our last morning in Rapid City, SD and after packing our luggage and taking a few last pictures we headed to church with Nick. He recently began attending Fountain Springs Community Church which was just a short drive from the base. The message shared that morning was over Philippians 4:4-7 which talks about peace. One of the things mentioned struck a chord with me. The pastor was saying that around a high anxiety person the best gift to them is a non-anxious presence. Hmmm....I just thought about how many times do we come in contact with a high anxiety person and what is my typical response? Something to think about.
After church we went to breakfast at The Millstone family restaurant where we've eaten before. I had the French toast and although I forgot to take a pic trust me when I say it was yummy.
We had some time to kill so we stopped at the mall. One of the first shops we came to was Happy Days. There were lots of collectibles inside and we found a mailman bobblehead.
Just as we were about to check out I spied an adorable mailman salt and pepper shaker set.
With our purchases tucked away we all headed to Rapid City Airport. Our short visit was coming to an end.
The salt and pepper shaker set is very cute.
