We headed to historic Keystone, SD to ride the train. We found out we had just missed the last one so we did what anyone would do in that situation. We went to go and get some ice cream.
While we were enjoying our treats this really, really tall guy dressed as an old western cowboy starts roaming the street.
He was apparently a part of one of the area shows and was trying to generate interest amongst the sightseers and get them to come to his show. We passed and decided to head back to the base.
As it just so happens, there is a Post Office right across the street so I had M go stand by it so I could take a picture.
We headed back to the base and stopped again to take a picture in front of the Box Elder, SD Post Office.
We settled back into our rooms on base and started packing as we were leaving the next day. We saw so many neat things and it was a whirlwind tour of the area we barely had time to catch our breath! Lots of fun though and we still had one more morning left to enjoy in Rapid City.
