Sam and Cece invited us to the coast to spend a few days relaxing in Lincoln City. They regularly take trips up there and every spring break they take all the grandkids.
We set out on Monday morning. We passed a cool looking bridge that raises up so barges can pass underneath.
That was pretty cool. I don't see a whole lot of bridges like that where I come from. In fact I can't think of a one.
We also saw Mt. Hood in the distance.
That's pretty cool too, right?
And of course who doesn't love a good water tower pic? I know I do!
We stopped at a rest area to let Curly Sue (Cece and Sam's dog) out for a walk. It was nice to get out and stretch our legs and explore just a bit.
After our brief stop we were on our way again but we made two more stops before reaching our destination. We also stopped and toured the Bonneville Lock and Dam Fish Hatchery and Multnomah Falls.
Already having fun!!
